Description
Programming doesn’t need to be a stand alone activity that students do in isolation from all the other subjects we teach at school. This session will put you into the role of a learner to explore the application of programming to the visual arts. You will be introduced to Processing, a coding language and sketchbook, to see how you can write code to create drawings and animations. You will experience a lesson plan that you can then take back to your middle school or secondary classroom and use with your students. A laptop or Chromebook will be needed for this session.
