Tim lives life in Victoria, BC with his awesome wife and three zany kids(adjectives reversible). Tim is the founder of Mathbeacon.ca and has learned with teenagers for over 20 years. Tim hesitates to admit to teaching math(in public) and perfers to say that he teachers hope(growthmindset). He sees mathclass as the arena where curiosity is sparked, perseverance developed and learning through collaboration is the goal. Meaningful integration of technology increase this collaboration and increase time to connect with people face to face. The most important technology in the classroom today is still the classroom teacher.
