Description
So many teachers have now seen the green screens and many are wondering “but how can I use it my classes”? This session will go beyond tutorials and show lesson ideas applicable for any classroom teacher. Although the “wow” factor may have worn off a little with what a green screen is, teachers are finding incredible ways to use it with their classrooms. This session will demonstrate the process from start to finish of how to not use this tool, but how to utilize it to drive instruction. Examples will be demonstrated on ways to use this in: Flipped instruction Science projects Art Comes Alive Social Studies time travel And more Participants will take part in this session as well. Many “volunteers” will be used to help demo the ease of use, level of fun and connection to course content. By having members from the session participate they will see how these type of lesson ideas empower students by shifting the lessons away from teacher driven toward student-centered instruction. By the end, participants will feel like they can start using these lesson ideas right away with their students.
