Kim Harrison is the Director II of Technology in the Washington USD in West Sacramento, CA. Over the past year 3 years, she has been a catalyst for change and a voice for teachers for access to classroom technology and learning with digital tools. She leads a team of classified and certificated employees to support data management and integration, professional learning, and network infrastructure with an eye to future innovations. Kim was honored in 2014 as a CUE Gold Disk recipient and served as an officer on the CapCUE Board of Directors between 2007 and 2016 in various capacities. She was elected to the CUE Board of Directors in 2016 and is in her second of a three-year term. Kim became a Google Certified Innovator in December 2014 in Austin, TX, and was part of the CUE Rock Star - Chico faculty in June 2015 and the Mammoth faculty in June 2016. She holds Leading Edge Certifications for the Professional Developer, Online and Blended Teacher, and Professional Learning Leader as well as a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) certification from CETPA. Her prior work experience includes almost 12 years as a coordinator for educational technology across two CTAP regions (Region 10 and 3) and 8 years as a classroom teacher at various grade levels 3-12 across California.
