I currently teach with the Rocklin Unified School District. My students know that I went to art school and somehow still became their fifth-grade teacher. I enjoy integrating educational technology in ways that expand my students’ capacities for creativity and critical thinking. Whenever I see students following their curiosity, it reignites my own passion for learning. I think it is exciting to follow how the latest technological innovations shape our students’ future classrooms and learning experiences!

Ryan O’Donnell is my co-presenter. Ryan is a former social studies and technology teacher and current Technology TOSA in Rocklin Unified. In his current role as a TOSA, he works with the teachers in his district to providing trainings and direction with their implementation of technology tools and pedagogy. He also hosts two podcasts, “Check This Out” and “Talking Social Studies”.
